SiteQ publishes short assessments for people who run businesses. This page explains what we collect when you take one, why we collect it, and what we do with it. SiteQ is operated by CarbonIsle.
What we collect
- Your answers. The responses you type into an assessment, and the score or classification we calculate from them.
- Contact details, only when you give them. Some assessments ask for a name, email address or company. Others do not ask at all. You do not need an account to take an assessment.
- Technical and attribution data. We set two first-party identifiers,
sq_vidandsq_jid, to tie the pages of one visit together and to connect a submission to the visit that produced it. We record which campaign or link brought you to an assessment. Where we have emailed you, we record whether that email was opened.
What we do with it
Your results are yours. You see your score and what drove it as soon as you finish.
We combine responses to spot patterns across an industry — that aggregate view is the point of the research. We do not sell or share individual responses.
Where an assessment is published on behalf of a client, and you gave contact details, those details and your result may be passed to that client's customer relationship system so they can follow up. The assessment will make it clear when this is the case.
How long we keep it
We keep responses for as long as the research they belong to is active. If you want your response deleted, email hello@siteq.io and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at hello@siteq.io. You can block or clear the identifiers described above in your browser settings; assessments will still work.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
